POLYMER LUBRICANTS

ABOUT

JSH Industries began in 1995 as a service oriented manufacturer in the field of maintenance-free lubrication for bearings.  H2000 is our standard product.  Since then, we have received USDA and FDA certification for food grade applications.  JSH Industries is on the cutting edge always trying to improve our products and services.  For example, an application where a water solvent was a major problem, we incorporated a sealing compound to make that application work even longer, saving the company money.  In 1997 JSH Industries invented T2000 lubricant and in 1999 invented HT2000 for higher temperatures exceeding 200°F to 550°F and even in some applications 600°F.  JSH Industries offers bearings for sale, eliminating excess paper work for some customers.  Our engineering staff will be happy to assist you in determining which product will suit your specific needs.  Contact us at 717-267-3566 and our personnel will discuss your application with you.  JSH Industries goal is to be the leader in the field of maintenance-free lubricants.  We want to provide your business with solutions to lubricating problems and longevity of bearing life, saving companies bottom line. JSH Industries takes pride in our workmanship and quality.  Every bearing is inspected thoroughly by our quality control team before it is shipped to you.

STANDARD PRODUCTS INFORMATION

Bearings Filled with Polymer Lubricants H2000, T2000 and HT2000, A Problem Solver

H2000, T2000, and HT2000 are ultra-high polyethylenes combined with the highest quality synthetic oils. When thermally cured during manufacturing, the mixture turns into an oily, porous sponge-like solid. This compound fills the bearing cavity 100% while allowing free rotation of all the rolling elements protecting the bearing from most contaminants. When the bearing is in motion and with the slightest load, H2000/T2000/HT2000 releases just enough oil to the rolling elements. This also protects the rolling elements with a thin layer of oil. After the bearing comes to rest, most of the excess oil is reabsorbed into the solid waiting to be re-released again when needed. In addition, unlike grease, the solid resists washout from high pressure cleaning and most chemicals used in sanitation of machinery.

Advantages of using H2000, T2000, HT2000

TECHNICAL DATA

Types of Bearings Suitable for

Polymer Lubricants

H2000, T2000, HT2000

Cylindrical Roller, spherical roller, tapered roller, needle, cam followers, thrust and all ball bearings.

  • Needle and cylindrical rollers need to include their inner or outer races

  • Tapered bearings need their cups included

  • Bearings with plastic cages are not recommended for high-speed applications

Please contact JSH with questions on specific applications with plastic cages.

Using H2000 and T2000 saves you money when it comes to seals and shields. Since H2000 and T2000 are solid lubricants in themselves, seals and shields in most applications are not necessary but can be used to help keep dirt out. Seals can be replaced if requested, however, shields cannot.

Maximum Operational Temperatures for H2000

The limits for bearings lubricated with H2000 with the temperatures being measure on the outer diameter are:

Maximum Operational Temperatures for T2000

JSH Industries is seeing a wide range of temperatures with T2000 from 200°F continuous, up to 350°F. We recommend trial samples before beginning production orders

Maximum Operational Temperatures for HT2000

Load Rating

The load ratings are the same as for standard bearings when lubricated with H2000, T2000, and HT2000

Allowable Maximum Speeds are Listed in Ndm Values for H2000, T2000, HT2000

The values listed below are for normal operating ambient Temperatures. As the ambient Temperatures increase, the operating speed may have to be decreased to allow bearing Temperatures to fall within the following listed Ndm Maximum ranges below.

  • Bearing paris and double-tapered bearings, the maximum Ndm is halved

  • The formula below will assist you in determining whether your bearings fall in the allowable maximum speed range that is suitable for H2000, T2000, and HT2000 lubricants

              (O.D. + Bore)mm

                          2

x RPM

Ndm =

  • Maximum Continuous: 82°C (180°F)

  • Maximum Interim Heat: 93°C (200°F)

  • Maximum Continuous Over 93°C (200°F) and up to 177°C (350°F)

  • Maximum Temperatures rating of 550°F
